Absentee Ballot Applications:
Absentee ballot applications are available in the Registrar’s office (Courthouse). An absentee ballot application is required for each election unless you are 75 years old or older or physically disabled or military personnel.

Requesting an Absentee Ballot:
A separate application must be made for the Presidential Preference Primary. You may request an absentee ballot in person or by mail from the Chief Registrar’s Office (Tax Commissioner’s Office) at:

Absentee ballots are available 45 days prior to the election.

How to Return an Absentee Ballot:
Absentee ballots must be returned to the Registrar’s office through the U.S. Mail or by the voter in person, or a relative of a disabled voter by 5:00 p.m. on the election day, in order to be counted.

EARLY VOTING

Early voting is a form of Absentee Voting. A voter may cast his/her ballot from Monday through Friday in the Registrar’s office (Courthouse) the week before an election. No reason has to be given to vote absentee in this manner.
