Due to budgetary constraints, the State of Georgia will no longer accept or process manual (inked) fingerprint cards. Therefore, effective January 1st, 2009 the White County Sheriff’s Office will no longer be able to process applicant based fingerprinting other than those applying for a firearms permit. The Sheriff’s Office will only fingerprint for Criminal Justice purposes. Persons wishing to be fingerprinted will need to contact a G.A.P.S. (Georgia Applicant Processing Services) location.
